...Searching the web, I've reached to these conclusions:
-It'll arrive on the 3rd part of Dec. as Voda live (according to the official announcement of Voda here in Greece it'll reach the market on 12/23rd)
-Its main display (if I can judge from the V525) is great, its image quality is as good as the TFT displays of Samsung handsets
--Its external display is inverted (light blue digits & letters in black environment)
-Its user interface is based on the SE menu structure but according to the reports made by many users of the new V300 (which uses the same UI) is not very logic & it has problems
-Its keys are simply beyond words. Though the keys have no space separating them, their arrangement & feeling is very good (according to the reports made by users of the V525, which has similar key arrangement)
-Its poly rings (24chords) are expected to be very loud & clear, clearer than any other moto device
-I haven't found any report yet about the MP3 reproduction
-For the first time moto uses vibra+ring on a handset plus the SMS send/receive report
-The built-in camera is not as good as one might have had expected. Is "acceptable" under day light but not good under artificial or in night mode (according to reviews given by users of the V525 which comes with the same integrated camera)
-Its video performance (MPEG4) is expected to be quite average because of the technology used...the V600 is equipped with the ATI-IMAGEON 2250 MP4 & JPEG multimedia & graphics coprocessor that allows 15 frames per second video decoding. The disadvantage on that field is that the video footage won't use all the display (176x220 pix) but only part of it
-Its weakest point is for sure its connectivity. No IrDA, just BT (quite fast though), I don't know if there'll be software given with the device
-Its design is absolutely perfect. The materials used are aluminum covers (changeable) & chromium (quite luxurious)
-Its battery performance...well quite a big questionmark...if I judge from the battery capacity (750 mAh) for a device with a TFT display, I'm afraid the stand by time will be short (possibly 2-3 days max)
-big questionmark is also the xHTML browser. As for the Java MIDP 2.0 platform, according to moto is compatible to ALL the latest applets or games
Here's an example of the V525 display...no comments

V525 display vs T610...big difference

Also it has lighting around the M-logo for different caller groups and other events:

What is the performance of the V500/525 or V300 battery then?

According to moto the V525 battery capacity is 700mAh, so its stand by time must be shorter than the V600...as for the V525 camera capabilitities...simply poor (taken from the V525 review at MobileBpit)

Doesn't really say much, but yes it's supposed to be really good on V600...

The Menu system sucks, but it's far from the one SE uses. The only similarity is the Grid menu at the first level, but most phones have that today (even Nokia, but not Samsung)...

All said, I'll definitely get one when it gets out...

Thanx Hjorten, yes you're right, the iTap is different than T9. About the V600 menu, I'm afraid that together with its connectivity capabilities, will be its weakest points...I'll definitely get one my self when it gets out also...just waiting

I cant understand why some dudes just like to bash ITap for no reason. What is the difference b/w pressing select on Itap and pressing the space key on T9???.... all it is is that T9 puts a space and also selects the word....ITap selects the word and also puts in the space for you... and for your info...the new Motorola models combine T9 and ITap for text input except the MPX200 which only uses T9.

Just accept that ITap and T9 are the same and stop bitching homie.

Peace mate....and can someone roll up a joint for me????

iTap has been improved! It used to suck on old phones like the V66, which I owned, but now it can even guess a word after you tap just two letters! I think that makes up the "select" problem. Besides: I think you can now select a word with the * button, correct me if I'm wrong.

I bash ITap for a reason! Because I've used it, and it sucks royal..
There's a HUGE difference between moving a finger to a menu key and pushing a space nearby the other keys, especially when using one hand.. Also, why do I have to get a space after a word? If I need a space, I push a space, if I need something else, I press that (and quite a few times, I need something other than a space after a word)..

Just accept that ITap and T9 are the same and stop bitching homie.

That ain't so homie!! Now get that crack pipe out of your mouth and accept reallity, even if it bits..

Now, if you can use "*" to select a word with, I starts to look like something other than a baby doll toy thing..

Wow! You think that its HUGE difference between moving finger to softkey or to space key? OK. This HUGE difference can be measured. It's less than inch for 9wxyz key and even better for iTAP for 3def key. The space is a common delimiter of the words. If you need a comma or period or something else - just press 1 after typing the word. You didnot know that?

In other words, if you think that key 1 is more convinient for you than right softkey, please dont't tell everybody that iTAP sucks. Just T9 is your habit, nothing more from your posts.

Not a big difference for one word. But if you have to do it for every word, it becomes tedious and slow (on T720 I never got nowhere near the speed I can get with a good T9 implementation, and not that I didn't try!).

But I do realize some people love this form, and indeed it's better than Tap (not Itap).

I know that.. the word just stays in the stupid edit line, and this gets very slow very fast.

But I do see the good point in the new iTap where it suggest words longer than what you have typed, plus it makes the most frequently used words flow to the top of the list (just like SE T610 does). V600 does both these things, right?

Just mentioned... * key in iTAP works similar to 1 key in T9

Oh... Yes it suggests the words after at least 3 characters are entered. But not sure about "flow frequent words on the top"

Thanks. You said you thougt you could use the star.

If you can now use "*", one of my points goes away..

Oh now I remember (from T720). Yes "*" puts a space but the word(s) stay in the edit line, it does not "select" the word. This is really bad because if you use this, you end up writing an entire sms in one line instead of several.. Plus it's gets very slow as you add more words to the edit line.. I actually used this when I used iTap, but got totally fed up with it. In reality it's useless.

Btw. It's very different which key to use for a space in T9 implementations. Yes, Siemens use "1", but I prefer "0" (Nokia) or "#" (Samsung, Ericsson).

What I meant with recent words flow to the top, is that T610 makes the words you use most frequently be the first in the dictionary. Very neat (except T610 has a bug which from time to time will change the order at random).

Another question about the V600: Does anyone know about its SAR exposure level? I've known from the moto previous devices that their SAR level is huge, almost having a "frier" next to your ear...is it going to be the same?

i heard it is 0.9 for v525
