have u ppl heard about motorola e365 with builtin camera.
it seems good but i dont know about its camera quality and reception.
can anybody tell me that is it a good set (w.r.t) camera quality and and overall functionlality.
I tried the E365, all I can say is that the display is fantastic. It is the best 128*160 screen available now. The camera is also very good, with fast refresh rates on the screen, and good VGA quality when displayed on a PC. The ringtones are also quite loud. But the E365 lacks Java.

>>But the E365 lacks Java, which the Alcatel has.
I am reading now Eldar?s e365 review in Russian.
Some translation:
Phone supports Java technology. There are 5 Games.
Alcatel do not have Java.
Alcatel has In-Fusio.

The E365 does not have Java. It was not on the phone I tested(which was a production model), and even the Motorola salesmen whom it belonged to said it did not have Java. He said it supports a different gaming download platform but did not specify.

Could you please translate link http://www.mobile-review.com/review/motorola-e365.shtml

Yes, it may say so in Eldar's review, but have you tried the phone yourself? I can assure you that it does not have Java. The review is mistaken.

I have not tried it myself.
Eldar's review is my alone source.

Well the review is wrong.;)

Frankly speaking, I've not used E365 but just consider a couple of things...
1. Eldar sometimes is wrong as any other human being but he is really experienced guy and his review says that it has Java
2. It's possible to flex on/off the possibility to upload midlets like it was with T720 - widely known example
But it's totally different, the T720 actually has Java. The E365 is completely devoid of J2ME support, and only has 5 built-in games.

that's not true. it definitly has got java. even motorola's official website says so.
I'm from portugal and I have a E365 and I can't download java (.jar files) to my phone, it says "format not supported"..
But in motorola's web site says that this phone supports J2ME.. I don't understand this guys from motorola!
I have phoned to motorola(Portugal) and they said that in future java games for E365 will be available in hellomoto.com. They cannot say nothing more about the phone..
maybe a sofware upgrade will be available for this phone in order to download java..
if anybody has this phone and is cappable of downloading java please reply..
thanks
i agree to Ghibli about the display. It's really fantastic and the camera and picture quality is one of the best.
I've got this fone and i'think the battery is low.Can any1
tell me wheather i'm true. But it''s difficult to find a data cable for E365.
I have got E365 for 2 weeks now and I feel the battery not too bad can last me about 3-4 days with around 2 hours phone call and lots of downloading picture, ringtones and playing games. If you think that is not enough for you as you have lots of phone call everyday then you can try to buy additional battery and a desktop charger to charge your battery separately. So you can change to another battery whenever you phone battery is low. This is like and the Samsung flip phone standard accessories with 2 battery and a desktop charger.
I don't think it is difficult to get the E365 data cable since it is available ever since it is out in the market. I read someone got this data cable with CD for USD17 from eBay. If you can't buy online why don't you order from the dealer who sell you this phone.
