Just been into Vodafone (UK) and there is a dummy phone but it looks crappy so i was wondering if anyone has seen it, is that what the phone is really like or is it better quality?

Does anyone have pictures of a real one? Is the front silver effect or is it cheao plastic and same for the keys? Whats the build quality like?

Any help most appreciated, don't want it to be cheap and crappy, say its not! :)

What phone are you talking about?

Most dummy phones don't look so good anyway, they are usually a lot cheaper looking so you probably have nothing to worry about.

yeh most dummy fones arent very good even tho they should be coz they r meant 2 encourage ppl 2 like them and if they r crap quality then ppl wont want that fone

to me, dummy fones are usually uglier, look cheap!!
wait til u open up the box and see/hold the real fone --> almost totally different cut !!

i'm not sure whether you are retarded or not but what phone you are talking about? i don't think we all here have telephatic ability .

It depends. I went shopping for a phone last week and some dummies looked and felt fine, but others were crappy.

Like with the 6170 I got: the dummy had this really crappy 4-way navigation button where it was almost impossible to push the central "ok"-button without pressing one of the arrow buttons around it. I asked the saleswoman about it and she said that the dummies weren't always very representative and she got me a real one to try out. Well actually she said that they were sold out of that model and pointed me to another shop in the city of the same chain so I went there and asked for it. The difference was very very big: the dummy had these plastic-type buttons, and the real one had, well, "real" buttons. Day and night really.

So don't rely completely on the dummies but try out a real one.

That, or you could tell us what phone you are talking about. Yeah.

Honestly people, this person hasnt even been on in almost a year and this thread is almost a year and a half old. This is pretty sad that you are in here replying to something you arent going to get an answer on from the original poster.

As for Dummy Phones maybe Vodafone should visit www.dummyphones.co.uk (http://www.dummyphones.co.uk) they seem to have some pretty decent ones! LoL and pictures too! :)
