Creating avatars

I have a GIF image which is bigger than 50 * 50, i'd like to use it as my avatar but don't know how to change the size...

Can anyone assist me?

download the Nokia picture editor, and open the image, click next and resize image! it will tehn let you pick the scale! make sure there both 50 or under! job done!
