I am looking for a 5 megapixel plus CCD compact digital camera with a large creen and nice zoom. Simple requirements and I have a sufficient budget. The four cameras that come up again and again to me and my friends are:
Casio Exilim EX-Z55
Canon Ixus 500
Pentax Optio S5n
Sony DSC-T7
They all look the same!! They're all shiny, silver, and by leading manufacturers. Whats the difference and which camera (or brand in general) is best??
Thanks a lot guys.
Sony's pretty great. I'd go for the T3 over the T7 though. But that's me.

Hehehe!!!
My mate just gave me a brand new T7 in exchange for a Darth Vader Force FX Lightsaber!!! Bargain, considering it only cost me £90!!

try testing the DSC-M1 by sony. i had it as a gift 4 days ago for my 15th birthday and it is COOL. 2.5" screen, 270-degree rotate screen, 5.1MP CCD, macro, and captures 640 x 480 mpeg-4 video at 30fps. but you would want to buy a seperate memory card for it. :D

Would die for one of those sony DSC-M1's. Really are a sweet bit of kit, probably my next big purchase as my Fujifilm simply aint gud enough enough for me at the mo.
