View Full Version : Sony 7.2Mp digital cameras
If you are a Sony digital camera expert (or an enthusiast!) please help. I'm about to purchase one of the Sony 7.2Mp digital cameras but am torn between W17 and P200. Any suggestions which one to go for?...
well, go for the better one
sorry, i dont remeber writing this it must have been a hack, but i would really say go for the one that is indeed better but also slimmer and smaller...

I have a Sony P200 and am very happy with it, I bought it as its so slim but still very powerful, amazing photos, good video, brilliant battery life and 3x optical zoom and all in a tiny size. :rotate:
+1 Scott, I also have a P200 and it's a very good camera. It makes nice pictures.
I've just sold my Lumix FX7, the battery sucker, 2 batteries for 120 photos was nightmare.
Me too, I'm looking for a new digital camera, also interested in Sony, I found 2 of them would fit for your need, in comparison for these 2 cameras
H1 : produces better image quality, less noise even at high sensitivity, 12x optical zoom is very useful, image stabilizer, much more manual adjustable setting but much bukier, you can't take it with you everyday and only 5 mega
P200 : fit in your pocket, it may help you to take some important shot on the steet some day, ease of use, small in size but big in performance, good image quality, good battery life and video recording, stylish, go everywhere with you
I will make a decision which one to buy very soon. Hope this helps
