MP3 players and speakers

I was just wondering how does mp3 players work with speakers? I mean if you use computer speakers for example instead of headphones. Anyone tried?

I'm asking this because me and my friend are travelling pretty often and have used my old portable cd player + computer speakers to listen to the music. I was thinking about buying an iriver ifp795 to get more storage and songs, but how would those speakers work with it? Those thingys dont have a separate line out jack, do they?

You can get and Ipod and the Logic3, the logic three is small and very portable, it also charges your ipod, or any mp3 player because you can change the attachment!
You can get them in most countries!!
it can also go quite loud!
