The new 5G Ipod is now available in two versions; 20GB and 60GB!
The improvements:
- Color screen
- Up to 15h of battery life time
- "Podradio" ready!

Price:
- 20GB = £209 incl. VAT & shipping
- 60GB = £299 incl. VAT & shipping

i agreed with my step sister to give her my old iPod and buy a color one. hahahaha. i'll get mine in two weeks. :D

I don't think those are the 5G...
Those are not new products, they are (almost) identical to the iPod Photo, it's just for Apple to "simplify" their offer and prepare the terrain for the 5G.

I think the 5G will be out later (maybe end of the summer, or later this year), and will come in 40gb and 80gb versions.

they are 5G ipods, to me it seems that apple has scraped ipod photo and just called them 5G instead, so i think ill wait for 6G ipods

Yep,exactly... And I don't like that move at all...They took away the 30 GB model,which would have been perfect for me...I guess I'm gonna have to look at the Cowon iAudio X5 :)

They are definitely just updated fourth generation iPods, not fifth generation iPods. Apple has simplified the product line by removing the iPod photo and putting coloured screens on the regular iPods, but there has been no major technological change.

is podradio the same as podcasts?
and wen do u guys think the 5g ipod will come out, cuz i might give my 4g 20gb to my sister and buy a 4g 20gb colour one. is it a good idea???

Zozo7610, i think it is. but buy the one with bigger memory to make it a better upgrade. then you have to download the latest firmware and then you'll have the podcasts. i'm not sure if it's same as podradio. :D

cant see the point in 5gb just spend a little mor and get the 20gb or more....or spend less and get a different player.....ipods (although i adore them) are slightly overpriced
