How Good Is The Sony Cybershot P200

Am looking at one of these camera to upgrade from my Pentax S4i as I have been disappointed by its performance & I heard that the P200 is one of the best digital compacts in its price range. So I wanted a few views on its performance & ease of use.

I owned the P200 for awhile and the photo quality is awesome and so is the battery life. I loved it but returned it for a refund because of a problem with dust in the lens and in the photos. This seems to be a defect in the sealing of the lens. You can read about it in the Sony Talk forum at dpreview.com. Just do a search for the P200 and dust and you will see what I mean. I did not want to risk it since so many owners complained about it.
