The letters may not be the same all the time but why 55, 65, 45. We know that Mercedes-Benz numbers are for how big engine the car has.
65 means 6.5 litre engine and 55 means 5.5 litre. Mercedes-Benz S320 3.2 liter.

How come Nokia has four numbers and the rest has three numbers while Siemens only have two numbers.

My car mad uncle has a couple of nice ones, SL55 and E55 estate and has gone down for the SL65 to replace the 55 although I think he is bonkers cos of the price!

Anywayz, Mercedes give you features as well as looks for your money. With Siemens, you just get nice looks on most of them, and then generally less good screens than the rivals.

Some people can't get enough of cars.
If I owned SL 55 AMG I would defintely not buy BMW M3 and E 55 AMG too, I would rather buy a Porche 911 Turbo.

Regarding SL 65 AMG
It will have 612 BHP, it's just like the CL 65 AMG.
The new Mercedes-Benz SLR will have 626 BHP with a torque of 780nm whereas SL 65 AMG has 1000nm.

i know most ppl here r from europe and no offense but i hate european cars like merc,BMW,audi,volvo,porsche,ferrari etc they r intended 4 rich ppl and i really dont like the look of them that is probly y i dont like them coz i got no money,lol but still they r dog ugly and looks r headed in the wrong direction...

the only good thing about them is the engines usually very good engines and revolutionary engines...

wat about old and classic cars does anybody like them like a 1961 cadillac:the best car ever made,no car will ever compare...

Holden?.. Ford? =P.. jk...

Overall, BMW is my fav.. but for what I can afford... LoL.. Japanese cars would do just fine.. =)

You like American cars over European cars *cough cough* It's rather strange that many
American people prefer European cars just because of better quality and more luxurious feeling.

Mercedes-Benz W125 did 433KM/H... I like this machine :)

i have been a holden man 4 15 years of my life but this year wen they released the VY i turned 2 ford because the VY is rubbish it is square and very european whereas the falcon BA looks more muscle i guess its just got that look about it where its not luxurious its meant 2 smoke it up,lol i dunno its hard 2 describe...

i like jap cars as well supra's and skylines turn my head where as if i c a merc or BMW i wont bother turning my head,lol that sounds stupid but still

i would love 2 do433km/h but finding the rite place 2 do that without getting caught is the main problem,lol the fastest i been without getting caught is 255km/h in a modified falcon XR6 turbo that was fast enough!!!! lol i would love 2 feel how fast 430 km/h is that would be unreal like i said b4 the only good thing about merc and BMW etc is their engines they r very very advanced with their engines...

What shall I explain ? It just isn't so. Compare the position of Mercedes-Models in the whole market, then compare the position of Siemens-Models with the 'same' name with the whole phone-market. You'll find differences. And besides, Siemens itself has stated that they don't name their phones after Mercedes-Cars.

The new BMW M3 CSL is an awesome car... it managed to do sub 8 min on the Nurburgring track.
And yes we are suppose to talk phones but some variaty isnt wrong at all.

It is not a myth, Siemens has close relations to Mercedes.

It is true, Siemens names their models after Mercedes, but that doesn't mean all of course ;)

This story is not true. Show me any (un)official Statement from Siemens , that shows that Siemens Mobiles are named after Mercedes Benz Cars. It's a myth that has been around for years now.

i have aksed siemens product manager in my contry about this, he said it was true. siemens has a close relationship with mercedes.


it is not a myth, it is true, but siemens doesnt officialy say it is so, it is like a business secret ;p

Because I promised true and dearly that I wouldnt post them any where. this is from when i talkd to the product manager in my contry, i got some seches etc, and i took a pic of them with my phone, I was allowed to do that :D aadn, they will know it was me if i let them out, so I cant do that. Sorry! :(

Eldar said he is allowed to post them, but didnt see any use to post them bevause the design could change or whatever. or, HE DOESNT HAVE ANY PICS...! So I think he should post them, if not, I am sure he doesn't have any...

if u mean sub 8 sec then this cannot be true the fastest quarter mile done by a factory made road driven car is sumthing like 11 sec by the ferrari enzo or sum ferrari...

it takes a shitload of time and money 2 get a car running even around the 9 or 10 second mark so i dont c how this is possible

if u meant that is does 8 minute lap a on a racetrack then sorry i misunderstood u :)

Yes I'm talking about the racertrack :)

The fastest car I know which can do sub 10 sec in quarter mile is Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR.

Ferrari Enzo do 11.2 seconds in quarter mile
Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR do it in 9.4 seconds.
I want to know how it feels to sit in one of these cars

But it is funny found...!

The experience with big screens, regarding to the ST55, is bad...The standbytime and operating time of the ST55 SUX!!! So if this phone would give the same problem...I don;t hope so..

If they can make the perfect phone (beautifull, good standby and operating time, JAVA, BT, large memory, integr. cam, large screen, small design, not too expensive)
it would be a bestseller...!:D

They did, the mechanism in the SL10 is called ProSlide.
