I am thinking of the following phones;

K750i on Orange.

6680 on 3.

SE V800 on vodafone.

Anybody with feedback on any of these phones on the above networks, or camparisons between these phones would be greatly recieved.

thanks

3 have crap customer service - its well known - Orange have great customer service and Vodafone have been f****** awful this morning - I can get the V800 free on my tarriff (Anytime 500 3G) if I have a new connection, £30 if I upgrade in a Vodafone store and £150 if I upgrade over the phone. Find the logic.

I've picked the V800 as I didn't want another Nokia or I'd have gone for the 6680. I also already have a K700i and want something a bit different, yet still very capable and with a good screen.

Thanks

I have a k700i at the mo, so that is very interesting and informative.

What is the 3g like on vodafone? I am particularily interested in the footy!

I know about the 3 customer services, bit was thinking about using a high street dealer, so that I have a point of contact.

High street dealers aren't great, in my opinion.

The k750i is better than the k700i (262k colour screen, more memory etc.) but I like having different phones that behave differently, not updated versions of the same sort of phone - have a 6630 and 7610, hence me not wanting another phone like that, albeit much better in the 6680.

I am told the 3G on Vodafone is brilliant, and its free to browse around Vodafone live. I'm actually upgrading after work today so I will be finding out for myself. They do stipulate that its free browsing on Vodafone live on their 3G contracts on their website - there is also some free browsing on 3 - but Orange do not allow free browsing on anything at all.

yumyum33,
no matter if you have a K700i now , get the K750i , superior features :
- so much better camera (2 MP Vs VGA)
- Memory Slot (64 Mb included)
- Radio with RDS
- better battery life
- USB Cable included (updating online ;) )
- better display (260k Vs 65k)
- Mp3 SMS Tones

yumyum33,
I have owned the K700i and S700i and own the V800 and K750i at the moment and I know how things have evolved.
When you first used the K700i, you thought, things can't get much better than this.
Maybe a better display would have been nice and of course the ability to use memorystick. With the S700i, Sony Ericsson made me happy but at the same time upset due to its size. I got rid of this phone to my sister and used the K700i until December when I bought the V800i. Everything seemed so nice but the camera sucked and it was big, plus the menu was abit sluggish because of the facelift it went through with the organic themes and with a windows popup style animations. With the K750i you get a phone which is as small as your K700i, with a display quality as good as the one from the S700i (not the same resolution though) and with nice animations in the menu without sacrificing the speed when browsing in the menu.
I thought a videocall would be usefull but it is just fun in the beginning.
If size matters, don't even consider the 6680.
The K750i all the way.

McKinley said exactly what I think , no doubt Nokia , Moto and Samsung have great handsets coming up soon but right now, unless you need a smartphone i think the k750i is as good as you can get, the one real issue i had with it, low earpiece volume on calls has been fixed with the latest firmware upgrade ( which you can do yourself with the usb lead supplied , no need to go to a service centre, how cool is that ? ) .. still dreaming of a phone that looks and feels like a Moto V3 and has the features of the K750i though ... would be perfect !

Thanks for the feedback. :)

Guess it is time to negotiate a good deal to stick with orange, and get the K750i.
