Guys...i've had my heart set on the s700i for a while. However now that the K750i is out i'm not too sure which one to go for. Any thoughts and advice. I like the look of the s700i as its different to the regular phone and has a great screen. I know that the S700i is only 1.3MP where as the K750i is 2.0MP. Is there a big difference in the actual quality.

Please help make up my mind !!

S700i only has one thing over the K750i, its screen. Other than that, K750i is better in terms of speed, memory, camera, technology (autofocus), size..... list goes on.

In real terms only the camera is noticeably superior, all other spec k750i slightly better, but offset by S700is infinitly superior finish!! :D PS this is why despite being a much older design the S700i still commands a higher price!! ;)

I'm interested in screen quality, not resolution.

mweb6161 - the s700i is well built, but it too still suffers from the same floors: Like creaking/clicking battery cover and after a few months the two-part swivel mechanism starts to loosen so when the phone vibrates, its sets off a noisy rattle. Granted the finish is quality (you'll know when you press the buttons and swiveling it out and back) it just feels right, but I've still gotta say: K750i = New & improved S700i in a smaller, lighter & quicker package.

My opinion!

Well chaps....i had requested the PAC code from vodafone in preparation for a possible move to who ever gave me the best deal. COz after numerous conversations with the upgrade team voda were not giving a good deal. However on Monday one of the custoemr retension guys called me up and finally was willing to give the S700i free and with a discounted line rental as well on the anytime 200.

Collected the phone from the couriers last night and it looks quite. Must admit the customised vodafone theme looks a bit naff...but one of the standard onece in their looks a bit better. I suppose i can get it debranded if i'm really not happy with it.

are u from the uk? if so u wont be able to get an s700 they have taken it off the market...imo id go with the the k750 or maybe not even a se, i had a s700 and its possibly the worst phone ive ever had (even below trium)it had so many problems with it. you got to look into what other people have had because the reviews only have the phone for a bout a week and not a long stretch phones usually last a month then start to break
