Hi,, this has probably been done but i need to decide, ill put what i want from a phone so u can judge whats gonna be better

I want a good camera, im not too bothered about the technicalities, i know the k750i has a better camera 2mps over 1.3. also what phone has the better pictue gallery for stored photos..

i dont know how big the gap is in quality between 1.3 and 2.0 mp?

I also want good video recording/playback

I want a pretty simple UI, i have been on my friends k700 a bit and i didnt know what to make of it, i thought the layout was good but maybe navigation was hard due to me not being used to the joystick bit.

I have held the d500 which i thought looked great, and have seen the k700 what i didnt really like the looks of but the k750 looks better than that.

Not too bothered about music playback, would like radio though.

Ive never had a samsung or a se before so i dont know too much

my last phones have been

SPV C500
motorola v500
nokia 3220
Sagem my x7 (hated)

Help much appreciated, ive been leaning towards the SE but every time i see the d500 i think i want that instead :eyes:

how long is a piece of string?

the k750i is probably the best value for what you want. it has a good camera, and support for up to 2GB of memory. i don't know what the limit on the video recording cpabilities of it are, but i get the impression that its ample.
it also has RDS radio(if thats your type of thing). thats where it displays what programmes are currently on and whats next.

motorola v500
top phone! :2jump:. its been my trusty phone for the previous year.

It's important to remember that a decent camera isn't just about how many megapixels ... part of what really helps set the K750i apart from the D500 is the autofocus feature , you tend to get sharper photos much more consistently because of this , also the macro feature for close up shots and the way the K750i handles dark conditions , megapixels only tell part of the story. The D500 doesn't have a radio either. You're comparing a six months old phone ( D500 ) to the very latest so it doesn't take a genius to figure out which is technically the best , but if you really like the look of the D500 ... well you could do a lot worse. :)

The K750i has video recording till you fill the memory, I got 30min before I got bored, and the recording meter hadn't moved.
I have been comparing the K750i to my mates D500, the screen on the K750i seems to be smoother and less pixelated. Only slightly though.
