Can you help me please? im trying to decidewhich one to get. ive seen endless reviews of the 6230i andtheres been a few complaints.can you tellme which a has better screen camera video player mp3 etc.ive searched through all the forums but i havnt got enough information.if you could help it would be

If you are serious, then you dont read enough on here, these phones have been talked about almost as much as the K750. The 6230 has a VGA cam and the 6230i has a 1.3mp cam, although its poor quality. The 6230i has a tad larger screen and a much higher resolution on it and its got other things over the 6230 also.

Ok basically they are the same phone
Except the 6230i is an improved version of the 6230 it does everything the 6230 does and has a better camera/ screen and newer interface
Otherwise they are pretty much the same
id get the 6230i of those two
also look at the K750i

and why seriously tho if you actually had read any of the forums or just plane looked at the specs the answer would be obvious the only talking point is price

lol thestory is- im goin to town to get a new phone next week and im getting a nokia 6230i DEFINETE lol for 100euro pay monthly. my dad is havin the sim card and i am goin 2 unlock it so i can use my PAYG card in it!! great i get like 300 euro off the real price!! if the se k750 is out next week in the shops fo the same price i wil get it.i hate the nseries anyway. the n70 and n91 are hidious ugly looking things, n90 is ok but big... im not gona get them.

yes, but to a limited extent. a quadband would be far better as they generally work better in buildings and you will get coverage in parts of the US where only the 850 band(the band that triband phones don't have) exists.
I bought a new 6230i at Rs. 15,350/- (with bill + warranty) from Kolkata, India. That wud be "290.746 EURO" or "US$ 352.428". I think it has best value for money. With a 1.3 mega-pixel camera, 64MB memory (upgradable to 512MB), 35 mins video capture with sound (depends on free memory - mine was 54MB free), Stereo FM radio (best feature of the phone may be when heard over head-set), Bluetooth, EDGE (TV clips), internet (MMS, Email, HTML browser), 208X208 pixel 65K TFT screen ... it is the best buy now. It has everything which a phone can have :-)
Ring tone sound is a bit low though ..
And when u take a photo .. the picture appears to be taken at night (a little bit shading/darkening - which didnt happen in 6230). Contacts cannot hold multiple numbers under one name (which my C100 cud). Camera shutter makes a BIG noise while taking the still photo. During Video capture the distant sounds were crystal clear during playback, but the nearby sounds were a bit distorted. Zoom is a crap.
Still best in the market other than Sony Erickson S700i, which comes at double the price.

Other than Camera 6230i is far better than 6230. The pictures taken by 6230i gets a bit shaded (dark). Appears to be taken on cloudy days. Zoom is a crap. Shutter makes enormous noise. Contacts cannot hold multiple numbers under one name (which my C100 cud). Still it is the best phone in the market as no other phone has so many features. you can get tv clips? wow cool. btw the memory is upgradable to 2gb not 512mb

The only thing wrong with the 6230i is that it doesn't seem they upgraded the processor so the 6230 is faster than 6230i
ahh sure i dont mind as long as its not dddddeeeeaaaaaaddddd slow its ok. love the design, very simple and i liike the metalic silver colour.

ssg2003, are you sure about this info??? Not that you are saving the contacts on your sim card? Be sure that you are saving your contacts on the phone memory, then try to save several numbers under one name again.
hey guys/gals it 'me' again lol. i just want to get the best phone thats out caus i usually change my phone every 6months but i want to stick with a top of the range phone for a while. has any one got any recommendations for a pay monthly phone thats under 130euros in ireland.btw it has to be in a shop not the internet.so far top of my list is 6230i becaus i havnt seen the k750i on the in the shops in ireland.thanks, Liam

Why do people compare phones when one is way better than another? Compare phones that are very similar in features so its a harder choice to make.
