m:robe MR-500i vs. Apple iPod (photo)

I´m about to buy a new mp3 player, but I´m not sure which one to choose.
I´ve chosen m:robe MR-500i and iPod (photo), to consider, i´ve read a test at cnet.com (Actually a really good place with a lot of tecnical tests!), about the m:robe MR-500i, it didn´t get very high rate by the reviewer, but I really like the design, and i think that if any mp3 player should beat the iPod would it be the m:robe MR-500i. I personally think.
But what do you think? - Did anyone try the m:robe MR-500i, and what are your expirienses with it?

Its costs about 595 US dollars in Denmark (and yes, I know it´s a high price, but if the player is good enough I´am willing to pay that kind of money.) Thats why i´d like to hear what your opinion of it are?

mate, get the olympus. its got a 9.4 cm vga screen, a 1.22 mp cam, 20gb hardrive, it has everything. it is a tad big but the ipod is also, and only has a colour screen and photos compared to everything that the olympus has. i am getting a new 500i in 2 weeks. cant wait!! syked!!!!!!

Stay away from hard drive versions of iPods if you like bass. Due to the small size of the transistors used to drive the output (e.g. earphones) there is a lack of bass in the lower range.
