Will a ipod photo work ok in the docking station supplied with a MK3 ipod?

Depends. What size was the 3rd gen one (how many GB), and how big is the photo one?

Ive got a 20GB 3rd gen cradle, and a 60GB iPod photo wont fit in it cos its too big.

The 3rd gen one was 20GB & photo one I was looking at is the 30Gb size.

i dont think so as the photo is thicker than all other ipods, apart from a 40gb

it wont work even if it fits. because the photo dock has an s-video thingy aside from line out and dock connector
