I think this would be a good addition to an already great site.

Come on I think some moderators are attempting to act as though they own this site and they have considerable power as it concerns the influencing of decisions relating to this.
Is howardforums and esato, to name a few, plazas?
Let's not be ridiculous it would be a good addition to the site.
One that the OWNER/S can consider.
Not persons who feel the need to reply to every post so as to raise their status and give the impression by their number of posts that they have superior knowledge as it concerns mobile phones,but a small area.
I think this would be a good addition to an already great site.
It works well on the sites you mention! and a section for bargain spotting would be of use too!! however even if this was adopted, the likelyhood of it being implemented by admin on M-R before my official retirement age (21 years hence) is at best slim!! :lol:

It all honestly, this would be extremely difficult to incorporate with so many people living in so many different countries. The benefit of Estato and HoFo is the fact that Estato is mainly Brits, Swedes and Philipinos, as least from my brief time spent on there and HoFo is mostly all North American people with a few from around the world. MR is much more diverse then either of those two sites.

Iron Mike I agree that may be a problem but in my opinion my suggestion is one that should be considered.
SIGH wouldnt it be nice to see the views of other members and moderators.Instead of one person flooding this thread.
It would have been a piece of cake to set up rules and moderate, but if there´s no interest from forum owner/admin it won´t happen and thats´s it.
No shortage of sources for s.h. phones in any case :)
Any update on this issue??? :spy:

not that I know of... ;) But as ThreeX said,there should be no shortage ins.h. phones anyway...IMO,one forum does not need to have everything like the others do,mainly for the reasons mentioned above...

that's correct,but we're not debating about buying or selling per se,now are we?
We're hypothtically speaking,elaborating on the fact that it is NOT allowed in here and whether this should be changed,which IMO it should NOT be... Due to the reasons posted above,plus I don't really see the use of such thing @ MR,status quo should remain,as I primarily see these forums and the forntpage as a source of valuable information on phones and other gadgets,NOT a place to buy them... :)
