I joined the forum at 21-02-2004 and when i joined the forum it was the best phone forum .Although not being a frequent poster i always visited the forum .Unfortunatly it is now nearly impossible not to notice how the quality of the forum is declining . we are loosing very good members like (karim, and many other) because some people sign up once start posting bullshit, start spamming and then never come back. Another very important issue is fanaticism ,more and more people are passing the limit and simple idea dissagremments became into big fights (usually people are taking things to seriously) also it has come to my attention that people dont help each other in this forum only moderators are posting .in my opinion the only way to fix is that the moderators should put more rules and apply them more strictly .Otherwise the forum is going to be filled up with crap and mobile-review.com/forum2 is just going to be a nice memory for most people
Waiting for your replies . I respect your opinions and im not here to fight but for a better forum

(dk)death, thanks for posting your views. I know I myself try to work hard and do what's best for the forum; trying to improve the forum daily.
I don't know what to say really, except you're not the only one that's said that.
A couple of spontaneous suggestions:
1. Posts in 'flame' don´t add to post count, will decrease number of total BS posts by "post-count hunters" i think.
2. Stop the IMO embarrassing congratulating over x-number of posts reached, that only encourages meaningless posting sprees to achieve some kind of status (?)
3. Mods should simply close threads that go wildly off topic and/or develop into pie-throwing contests.
4. Maybe introduce some kind of "yellow card" system for misbehaving users, warn once, then if behaviour don´t change - ban.
Well, that´s my thoughts anyway, feel free to disagree ;)
Cheers!

I already do that anyway.
ThreeX, you got my vote on all of your points. :D

yeh i agree. especially the folk who only recently joined and are already like hitting 1000 posts by always creating useless threads in the flame section.
I think we all know the culprits
ThreeX, totally agree with what you say.
I really dont understand this obsession people have with post counts, what does it prove? how much crap they can talk?
Also need to warn (is warning possable on these forums? i know it is on invision power boards) users who hijack threads. And delete users who just post randomly (usually about unlocking) in any threads. You know the "sir i have me one of these nokia 7610 cellular mobiles, and i would be liking the unlock codes. please send email to whatever@nonexistentemailaddress.com". That proper does my head in, and there always users with 1 or 2 posts.
If you can contribute to a thread DONT REPLY!!!!

Yes it is all about how much crap! :insane:
Well what is it about with people who post simpy to put up their post count then?
And delete users who just post randomly (...) in any threads.
Well, I'm not a very "Fanatic" user but nevertheless I read the forum and well, I post when I have smt to ask or say... Why should I get deleted?
 Becoz I post only when I have smt to say? After all I am 14, I don't know that much about mobiles! :rotate: :rotate:
