View Full Version : Engraving ideas on iPod
so after eventually deciding to get an ipod mini, I now can't decide if I want engraving on it, and if I do, what shall I have engraved...
ideas, advice very welcome...cheers
the ingraving looks smart! just get our name or a smile!! like =) its hard to sell one tho thts been engraved! but if you plan to have it long term!! what colour you getting?
the colour is another thing I'm undecided on.
I had always thought I'd go for Silver, but then i was looking and on the website, and the blue, pink and green look so colourful...
decisions, decisions eh!
Silver... the others you'll get bored of quickly.
The engraving is so tacky imo.
yea i wuldnt get the silver!! go for the green!! v.nice!!
Karim, it can be tacky depending on what you put!!
Dont put your favourite something because in a few weeks you will prefer something else!! ;)
Looking at them both now, id say the blue and green are about the same niceness! :D
Ipod mini from apple.com is free shipping and engraving!!

colourwise, pick anything that fits your personality, if u dont have any favourite colour, go for the one that matches something you already own and carry around a lot, like a mobile or cloths, or anything.
silver will not get you bored after a while, its boring from the start :p
if you dont know, what to engrave, dont get anything, remember, its like a permanent tattoo, u cannot get rid of it (so easily) and its right that ppl will be reluctant to buy personalized iPod with some funny inscriptions

Haha, I agree. Especially silver coloured cars are boring. Now we see silver TVs everywhere
