i just got a Ipod 20gb!!
Is it possible to connect 2 ipods to the same laptop?
and maybe transfer songs between them both?

ok great!! I cancelled that auto transfer!! because i like to edit the song names!! so ill just drag and drop!! Thanks a lot!!

Turns out that you can connect two, but you can't swap music between them!! But gutted!! :)

How do you get 2 to connect to the same computer?

Ive got XP Pro and the latest version of iTunes, and i cant get it to connect 2 ipods. When i plug in the other one it just connects and disconnects again and again and again.

i'm sure you won't get two iPods to connect together via iTunes. However, if you plugged two iPods into two USB ports they should both show up as hard drives. So far so good but the fly in the ointment is that you can't drag and drop MP3 files onto an iPod. Have to use dedicated software to do it which brings you back full circle ie software can't handle two iPods at the same time.

yea, my laptop has two usb ports! and they both came up on the list on the left!! Ive got XP but i have the 2nd latest version or Itunes! Its a bit pointless anyway, unless you need to charge 2 at a time! ;)

my ipod is broke again! The 3rd one now! I plugged it into my computer, and ti started beeping, then the battery sign came up, and now nothing, its been charging and i plugged it in2 my comp! Good job its insured! :( :( :( :(

The volume sucks on these things. You could hear yourself talk when the volume's on full blast.

turns out it is not an ipod but a software that you can use to boost the ipod volume. It is free and works on apple macintosh. There is also a windows equivelant. In the EU there is a volume restriction so it may be the same Down Under ! !
