I am just posting this just to tease peoples :)
I know that not that many MR members (perhaps 0 members) would be able to buy this beast, but it's just good for us to look at it.
It's a medium format expert DSLR camera.

The next model which makes us laugh sarcastic is pentax 645 digital
it's only an 18megapixel camera... hahaha...

btw, i like the pentax one more...
damn, if I were to buy this, it's like deciding of whether to buy a used car or a digital camera.... lol

I prefer 7.2 Mpxl Cameras with 2.5" LCD... :)

22Mp Medium format, image size 132MB, but it does come with 40GB storage.

since when will you print out 22mpx? or even show them to relatives or friends that might have dial up conenctions? lol..good luck... :lol:

Hasselblad, the frontier brand of medium format:) That digital back looks nice. I like the pentax design more though...

22 MPX would be used the same as medium format is in film, for portraits and so on, where depth of detail is important.

I have a 20D 8 megapixel and that does me fine. That Mamiya is for very very serious photographers only aka Professionals with deep pockets. If I win the lottery I'll get one otherwise I'll stick to my trusty 20D.

what is there that can display 22MPx at a viewable size?

ive never seen a monitor that goes past 3Mpx, so a 22MPx image would be about 50 inches across.

and a printer that does 800 dpi has gotta be either pretty expensive or slow or both....

I think your right klanky.

Depending on your usage anything above 4mp is good. If we go back in time 3mp was the gearing of the start they will only get bigger hey, I mean lets take a look at TV's the majority of households in the eighties owned a 21inch set and you was a trend setter , in the nineties 29", now if you have a 32inch its basic the trend setters start with 42" plasmas.

What will you need a 22 mpx for ? Do you print advertisements for the streets with your digital camera :confused: ? 5 mpx is MUCH for me ! 4 mpx is a good resolution ;) at least for me :rotate:

that mamiya has made me white wee wee! wow a digi med. format, i would love one of them. makes my 300d look so lame now, and ive only had it a year!!!!
