this is wat happened to my ipod (the pic was taken with my 6230 btw). i had a burst red pen and unknowingly had ink on my finger, and i went to pick up my ipod and accidentally touched the click wheel with that finger. i wiped it to try to get it off, but i couldnt, so i then got a damp towel to try and i think that has ruined the wheel, because whenever i use the bottom half of it it doesnt respond. the ipod was bought in september i think so it is under 1 year old. do u think that apple can replace the covers and wheel, as the wheel is ruined and has a bit of engravement at the top left where the earphones dug into it, and the back is all scratched. do u think they can replace them, with me obviously paying some money if need be?
thanx guys
They can probably fix it, but I think it will cost alot :-/
Send Apple an e-mail...

do u think so karim? because in the 1 year limited warranty booklet it says they arent accountable for any damage brought on by the owner? even tho it is under 1 year old, do u think so?
