Pathetic. If you can't make your own material, you shouldn't copy us. They really should feel ashamed!

Yea, like badger said. Even though it is really annoying and not too legal, just take it as a compliment. :)

they don't have to - they just need to quote the source.

erm im a law student and technically they dont it is not considern plagiarism , as long as they havnt actually claimed its theirs. But u right it is cheap and unfair.

If you use the info from this site, you MUST add a source and a link to the source.
That is a normal unwritten law. Next to that is more than logical to do this.

I also use topics of Eldar in his news parts of the site, but I translate to do dutch
create my own story of it and add the source. That is how it should be.

its a fair assumption in law that if a person doesn't quote any source, then its assumed that its their own. otherwise, people would have to state that its their own work after EVERYTHING that they write.

Well they have. How do the posts with no reference to this site, and other posts made by that user differ? They don't - therefore there's nothing to suggest that it isn't their own information, when it isn't.

You don't have to have a law degree to be able to work that out.

here's another way to put it:

if i took songs such as 'Honky Tonk Women', 'Hey Joe', 'River Man', 'Femme Fatele', etc, then burnt them onto a cd which has "BrightSpark' on the front cover of the cd case, then just gave the track listing on the back with no reference to the original artists, then advertised it in the media, does that mean that i can't get sued for copyright/plagiarism because i didn't outright say it was my own work?
the answer is: NO.

definitions of plagiarism
Using another person?s work without giving credit.
Failure to give the source of a quotation or paraphrase in which the language, thoughts, or ideas of another person are used as one's own.
Plagiarism is the use of the ideas, words or findings of others without acknowledging them as such. To plagiarise is to give the impression that the student has written, thought or discovered something that he or she has in fact borrowed from someone else without acknowledging this in an appropriate manner.

Simple solution, only take PM requests for url to Hackers bible and put an edited version online with all values altered and all tips totally off the chart, ie: "To remove unwanted ringtones - make sure you have assigned ringtones to everything first, THEN remove the unwanted ones" ;) that´ll teach them not to copy

i'll think of something.

it REALLY *expletive* me off when people copy something without so much as a credit as if they've written it themself.
in response to this by another poster on that forum:
I prefer the original

http://www.mobile-review.com/forum2/showthread.php?t=16917

he uses pretty colors
the cheeky *expletive* even had the damn cheek to say this:
then read the one there, and leave that for the PEOPLE here,,,, and btw at least am sharing that with the members here not like u just keeping that for urself....
as if he/she has the right to!

grrrrrrrrrrrrr!
