how about this?
This is the camera I'm planning to buy this year... Will probably keep the P-12 as a party cam or something....
This one, Konica Minolta Dimage Z5..
12x optical zoom, picture stabilizer 5 Megapixel. Didn´t like it first, but my uncle got one, and it grows on you + it does take wicked pictures! :)

I like the looks of our new camera, but the performance and reviews dont seem to good. Hopefully it works good for us because it would upset my girls mom if we needed to return it. Its the Konica Minolta X31
That's quite nice Dunga, but I'd break something like that, everything has to be in on piece for me. :D

The real monster
http://www.leica-camera.com/imperia/md/images/leica/produkte/rsystem/zubehr/25.gif
LEICA DIGITAL-MODUL-R
Good looking camera:) I like this classy looking camera
Not so small, not so big, but loooks premium

LEICA DIGILUX 2
It's pity that these are more expansive than average SLR cameras

DigiLux 2 is really unique !
7.2 mpxl ?
SLR's are well worth the money, some of the results I've seen off a friends are stunning :)

LEICA Digital module R is perhaps the most expansive among available DSLR;s. It kinda makes Canon mark2 poor looking. Well, it's Leica. That explains it:) I wished i had that much money to buy this monster.
saliquincer,
The LEICA DIGILUX 2 at a glance
Fast 7 ? 22.5 mm LEICA DC VARIO SUMMICRON f/2 ? f/2.4 ASPH. zoom lens (equivalent to a 28 - 90 mm zoom lens on a 35 mm camera)
2/3" CCD sensor with 5.0 million pixels
Analog photography feeling conveyed by manual setting possibilities directly at the lens
Its traditional clear design readily identifies it as a typical Leica
Transfer-reflexive 2,5? display with a resolution of 211,000 pixels and outstanding brilliance
Electronic viewfinder with 235,000 pixels that covers 100% of the picture being taken
fast Autofocus:
- only 500ms/600ms including focusing (with 28 mm/90mm settings)
short shutter release delay:
- only 94ms with manual focusing
Extra large picture storage card with 64 MB
Interval timing and control via the PC
Connections:
USB 2.0 (High Speed); DC IN; AV output with option of PAL or NTSC; Remote release cable
Extremely robust and long-lived because of the use of high-grade materials and precision fabrication
The specs are not that particularly good, i think the brand Leica and the lens made the camera more than cheap SLR's (diglux's are not SLR line) :)

I like the Fuji S7000, it's one of the reasons I bought it. It's got a good style, and balance to it.

Casio Exilim Z40 - Fav Compact - Petite, shiny and compact. Bonus people don't duck when you point it at them.
PowerShot S1 IS - Fav Prosumer/Enthusiast - Muscular, yet not over burdened by buttons and knobs.
Looak at this beauty

DUNGA, i just received that camera [dsc-m1] a day after my birthday. it is very nice to use and some people would even think that it's a cellphone because some of my classmates do. :P

Do as I did: put sunystory@hotmail.com on your ignore list. His postings will appear closed and the page opens much much faster. Later you can open those ignored postings, if you still care...
It's certainly amazing how arrogant some people are by forcing us 2500+ pixels wide images. Who has the pleasure of such a over-blown worship of Leica or what ever? One must have twin monitors to appreciate such world wide images. Moderate image size would do the same, IMHO.
So, go to to User CP on top menu and open Buddies/Ignore list - and voila! Problem solved. Fabulous forum givin us such an option.
EDIT: I just found out that single posting with oversized photos have collected 15,8 MB in file size! Unbeliavable!

sunystory@hotmail.com,
its nice of you that you want to provide us that pictures but stop linking them with [img]-code if they are that huge. If you ever should post such a mass of data again I delete the whole post and consider a ban instead of just removing the [img]-code.
Mark_Q,
Thank you for the tip, will do that next time...
It's really useless and unfair to post such huge pictures direct on page,
it's much more correct to post a link with a description and who has a interest and fast connection his free to visit that.
I need more than 20 minutes to load 16MB on 56k modem!
Shiranai,
Thanks for edit it.
Fabulous forum givin us such an optionwould be even better if it didn't allow people to post 2500+ pixels wide images in the first place.
