Can people who lives in a country with EURO tell me anything about it.
Are you happy with EURO, how has the economy situation changed in your country,
what about more job, the price of food, service and what do politician says about it?
Swedish people are going to vote for or against EURO 14th september and I will vote for it.
Unfortunately the majority are against it.

Well.... lemme try. The upsides are that the EURO is a quite strong currency. I travel quite a bit, I find it marvellous not to have to change money everytime I cross a border.
In the very long run a strong currency might help the weaker economies in Europe (or so I hope)
The immediate downsides are: that everything in MY country at least has become more expensive. And I do mean everything! Clearly the economy is not great these days... but in the first days of the EURO, it was already very clear to see that in many cases... not the pricetag on articles has changed... but only the currency tag. And the EURO is more than double the value of our guilder... so lemme tell ya... that hurt my wallet quite a bit. And still does... since unfortunately my salary has been converted as it should be :(
Now with the economy going down.... money's getting tight anyway... this euro is not really a pleasure.
In good times... it'll be great no doubt.... but we still have a long way to go I'm afraid.
Well... as you can see I am not generally positive about the introduction of the EURO, however, I would not trade it for our Guilder ever again. Being a failry small nation, I think Europe can be very beneficial to us. I think adopting the EURO as our currency is an important step forward and I believe not participating will eventually lead to being more isolated from European business that countries who do participate, simply because trading is easier when you can handle just one currency.
Well.... that's my opinion on the matter... hope it helps at all :)

yeah, food and stuff got really expensive here in Germany, too... but i don't know if it's euros responsibility only!
The non-changing-money-situation in the euro-countries is great, i love it.
And it's really funny to find spanish or italien cent's/euro's in your pocket :-)
I'm not missing the old "D-Mark", i like the euro...
