I suggest we relegate either the Alcatel or the philips section (or both) to other manufacturers. and install O2 as a seperate brand section!! due to the amount of queries relating to this brand?

we shall see. complaints section usefull because it stops interference messing up other threads. bargain sticky thread means every time someone spots a bargain you wont have to create a new thread!! :)

You just have to make a choice between brands, and i think that a 02 section will be just as big as a Alcatel or Philips section...
There are other brands like Sendo, BenQ, Maxon, Bird, Pantech... etc but you can't put them all online...
just to small.
We have the top 10 phone brands in the list, and i think that's enough for now. There is a 'All other manufactor' section to post it there...

And a bargain section is not a good idea. for some reasons; a lot of spam/crap/scam can be posted over there; If there is a problem, M-R will get a less good reputation; it's in first place against the rules...
And if you want to sell something, ebay etc are good places to do so...

maybe in outer mongolia :D The brand sections ought to reflect in direct relevance the indiginous countries of the people who actually use the forum. look at the numbers of posts relating to O2 and compare that with the same for Alcatel!! it needs updating! IMO :)

Come on kristof.vanriet its nearly christmas!!

The bargain section can be modded by me and anybody who wants to help me, so it ll save you the hassle.....

No pyramid schemes and no where to get it for cheap prices links.

hehe:)

It is stated in the rules that it's against M-R policy; the admins won't go for it.

I've found around 60 threads about O2 (without comparing brands/features) posted this year...
If you compare this with Alcatel (80 threads) and Philips (100 threads) it still not very much. But I'll suggest it to Eldar...

And Mowbli, are you going to test every mobile phone that is being bargained, or check the 'credibility'? It's not so easy...

I could show you 1 O2 thread with more posts in it than the alcatel section has had in the past year and a half  if you want to play the numbers game!.Any way the point i am trying to make is that certain brands popularity decreases over time, the brand sectioning should reflect this. And mowbli means offers from well known and trusted outlets that do NOT require verification!! :)
