Hello, can you tell me some good CHEAP digital camera ? Optical zoom and 6mp are not important ;) I need some 1.3-2.0 megapixel camera with baterry that is recharging through usb or adaptor without removing the batteries ! (I mean some Li-Ion or Li-Pol battery, etc , not a AA one). It must have flash, too, display is not a MUST .... ;) So what do you think ? And I love that SMALL, stylish cameras that you can bring everywhere (I don't have camera at my phone but I love shooting ..).

there are many sony's and casio's and minolta;s available out there. For low-end camera, i only have experience with minolta, and it seems not bad...

I saw they have dealers neither in my country (Bulgaria) nor in Germany, where I have friends, so I guess I won't be able to find any of them ...

Crossblade,
You wont be able to get any Canon for just $70
Maybe on second hand but otherwise not.

Do you want a bargain? Go for the Pentax Optio 30! :2jump:
This is a fantastic 3MP pocketable camera which produces excellent pictures. Just read the glowing feedback about this camera on www.dpreview.com - look at the comments on the camera itself and also comments about it in the Pentax forum.

I want to ask some questions about price so I won't open a new thread and just use that

Can you tell me the prices of some cameras:
Pentax Optio S
Canon Digital IXUSi (SD10)
Canon IXUS (any of the portable CANONs ... I am interested in all of their models - old ones, too)
Casio EX (any of the portable ultra slim Casios ... I am interested in all of their models - old ones, too)

I look at the Phillips DSC2000K now ... it has 2.1 mpx CMOS lens ... SD card, li-ion battery .... But if it was CCD it would be much better :( I don't know it is still a "nice" "camera"

BENQ DC E40

Official site:
http://www.benq-eu.com/Products/DigiCam/index.cfm?product=441
Other site:
http://www.ciao.co.uk/BenQ_DC_E40__5741217/TabId/4

4mp CCD, 8MB (SD card slot), 1.5 TFT TOUCH!SCREEN, Li-Ion battery.
I got a friend with 3mp BENQ and he likes the camera as a whole. It gives him nice battery penformace (his is with Li-Ion batter, too) and the pics are OK. It looks pretty fine. I can get it for about US$180 or about 140 Euro. I guess it is pretty cheap.

The touch screen - who needs something like that on CAMERA ! wow :) The newer model DC E41 is the same but with 2.0" display (touch again) .... well it is not available here (or I can't find it) but I don't need it - it will be more expensive. BENQ say the display is used to SIGN your pictures ;) Wow I don't think I'll use it but it is still OK !

Tell me what you think of that camera. Is it ok for the price ? I guess it is ok ... but would like to see what you will tell me, guys !

Cheers !!!
