Hi guys

I am in the market for a new mobile phone and dont want to spend a stupid amount of money. The siemens cx65 looks pretty impressive. At the moment I am using a nokia 3510i (way out of date now) but it is almost knackered.I dont really know alot about the moden phone features. A friend of mine has recommended the segam myx-7?? I think the siemens looks better but am no expert.

From what I have already found out, it looks as if it has a few software bugs which can be solved by updating the firmware?? I dont really know what firmware is, but I guess its something like a OS for the pc. I was thinking of getting the phone from the orange shop (uk) would they update the software for me?? if not can the correct cable be bought from them??

Anymore info, please help

Yes, firmware is like the operating system of the phone.

If you buy a phone it will still have the latest firmware which is available.
You can let your shop update the firmware of the phone for free while the phone has guarantee. With the most phones, you can't do it by yourself, so you have to go to your provider.
