NOKIA reference :NAPC1420187
I bought my HP (Nokia N3315) on 31/05/02 for S$268. Six months later, I had problem receiving/sending messages. I went to the NOKIA shop at Parkway Parade and was told it was a "NETWORK" problem due to something being "dusty". The shop assistant just "wiped off the dust" and that was that.
Now, 13 months later, I am having the same "NETWORK" problem.
NOKIA now wants to charge me $128.94 to replace parts of the HP.
1) Is NOKIA fair that the quality of their HP was only
meant to last 1 year and 1 month ? After that, I need to incur $128.94 to have parts replaced.
2) This is the 2nd time the same "NETWORK " problem occurred. Why was nothing done about it the 1st time I brought the HP to the NOKIA shop ? Instead, I was told it was a "dusty" problem. Is NOKIA being truthful to me ?
3) if I knew I have to spend a total of $268 + $128.94
= $397 for a NOKIA N3315, I would have considered at greater length before I made the purchase .
