Hi,

First of all Im in the translation business too so I know how difficult it is to get everything done when every customer thinks his job is the most important and of course should have been ready yesterday and preferably in perfect quality and at no cost at all ;)

This review on the 2600 has been published in Russian about 10 days ago so please could you translate it into English? I think Im not the only one here with a high interest in Nokia phones.

Looking forward to reading the article

Thx and keep up the good work

I don't speak Russian, so here's a review I wrote myself.

The Nokia 2600 is a rock-solid phone for a very reasonable price ($50). I bought mine in conjunction with a 1 year Tracfone plan ($8/mo.) and have been very happy with both the phone and service. The vivid full-color display is easy to read. All organizational features are very useful.

I travel constantly and have not encountered reception problems. The 2600 is a GSM phone and utilizes the same nationwide network as T-Mobile/Cingular. There is no roaming. I highly recommend this phone or the Nokia 1100 for this reason.

Tracfone gives 100 free minutes to customers referred to by current Tracfone users. E-mail me at captwilliams@gmail.com for a referral or with any other questions you might have and I'll try to help.

I have a question. Am thinking of buying this phone. Does it allow to store multiple numbers under One Name:

e.g.

Mobile, Office, Home, etc.

I can do this currently on my 6210.

This is the main criteria for me.

Also, is the Spreadsheet function useful or useless.

a2k24,
please don't bow, even though I'm currently located in England,I'm not HM the Queen or something...

Joking aside, thanks for the help,I'm not that good with Nokia phone (details) anymore...Perhaps,it'll change soon with the upcoming models (N-series,8800)... ;) But,enough of me talking off-topic...

My basic critieria was Multiple nos. per contact name like it is in Nokia 6210.

Spreadsheet Question was because I was just interested what it would be like ;)

Am thinking of changing the handset because lately I get the NOT CHARGING message when I connect the charger.

I checked it - Charger & Batt is OK. Seems some IC is faulty in the phone or may be some loose connection.

You know any other Company Model similar to the price of Nokia 2600 but, having Multiple nos. per contact & a big Phonebook memory. Colour display is optional. Black/White is OK for me.

Thanx in advance.

does anybody know how to fix this?

Yeah ok, but it is very uncomfortable to do it each time when the keypad is blocked and I want to see the time or if I got any messages.
