Does anyone know how to convert wav files into the realtone format for LG7100 named *.adp
*.wav to *.adp
you can use midi files with your 7100 too... (there is many files at Internet)

i think i may have found the answer http://e.ehoo.cn/exwx/xz/e868ringmake.exe, the link to the program is on this forum http://www.lgtel.org/viewtopic.php?topic=1767&forum=5 sorry it in another language but u should be able to get the gists or you could try doing a search for free website translation and translate the page from french to english. i have not been able to test it out on a lg 7100 but hopefully this weekend i will, let me know how things go?
alright i've tested it out and i now know how to make ringtones first download oki adpcm player from http://e.ehoo.cn/exwx/xz/e868ringmake.exe then open wav file with windows sound recorder than save as and change format to (PCM 8,000 kHz; 16 bit; Mono or PCM 8,000 kHz; 8 bit; Mono) now open oki adpcm player and load file and select 4bit ADPCM2 then press dump and the adp file should be saved to same directory that the wav file resides in, now copy over the adp file to the ringtone contents folder eg.(C:\Program Files\LGGSM\LGContentsBank\Contents\RingTone) and use lg contents bank to copy to phone. you could have a fiddle around and try using other settings, good luck
How to convert mp3 files to adp for use with LG7100 mobile phones and compatibles

1. Download and install the mp3towave program available at: http://www.vitaminic.com/download/mp32wav.zip
2. Convert your MP3 file to WAV using the mp32wave software
3. Open the wave file in "Record Sound" (available in "Accessories Menu" at Windows)
4. Click on "File Menu" -> Save As and change the format to "16000Hz, 8Bits, Mono"
5. Download the "Okiadpcmplayer" at: http://ukinglli.cnzn.com/lg7100/soft/adpmakesoft.rar
6. In the Okiadpcmplayer program, click on the first button, choose the wave file and click
on the "DUMP" button (this will create a file with the same name but with .ADP extension)
7. Transfer the file to your mobile phone! (With LG7100, you can
use the "LG Contents Bank" program,

Just Google 'Mobile Phone Tools Download' and you'll be sorted!! Most newere LG phones can play mp3 anyway!

Hi,
I was so disturbed due to searching an adp converter, after searching hard i
found an free tool which will do that for LG & Blackberry Mobile phone. don't
just click on the link which i am going to tell you but read complete post.
first of all go to http://www.kangun.com create an free
account its basically community website like hi5 etc but it provide so many
other tools like Video grabber to download youtube , metacafe video and provide
tool for free to convert them for ipod, psp or mobile, so this site also have
mobile section basically for Ringtones, wallpapers & games. Anyway just create
an account and login to Your member area at member area you will find Mobile
Gallery click on that and once its load click on Mobile software and You will
find adp converter for Lg & blackberry mobile phones download it, unzip the
software once it complete, start the software it will ask you for mobile
connection type i.e USB, Bluetooth , Com etc Select Com Port, Program will start
try to detect the phone, just ignore it cause tone You are going to transfer
with your own mobile tool. Click on Small icon "Menu" on rite side of software
panel, it will launch media Studio from that select melody studio and that's it
, import wav files and save as .adp file .. Enjoy

Wanna convert mp3 or wav files into adp format (Used in LG B2050 and Above product Lines and also in Philips Phones)
