6850 release date?

Amazing question of course but do you think this phone will be on sale before christmas?

As Nowicom already got a sample version, perhaps the phone will be out a.s.a.p after the official presentation on 28/10?

I hope it's smaller and lighter than the 6800. That phone was so heavy, and felt so plasticky.

The resolution is obviously higher than the current 128*128 pixels, that's a good thing. And the joystick is now five-directional.
Do you mean it also has EDGE?

Screen: 128x128 pixels
EDGE: 100% sure as all new upcoming Nokia GPRS phones (even 3200 is EDGE compatible)

But how come the display is able to produce such a small font so clearly?
If all the new phones have EDGE, isn't it a little strange that the 6600, which is supposed to be the most high-tech model, doesn't have it?

I don't know.. but areamobile.de said this is a 128x128 pixels display with 4096 colors. Perhaps TFT?

@sebset: With regards to your question about availability, I don't think this model will be out before next year. Nokia is famous for releasing products long after they were shown, and the 6850 hasn't even been shown yet. Also, the 6800 isn't that old, so I suppose Nokia will want to stretch it's shelf life as long as possible.
