I believe that first one on your list is already available or soon to be released. I have seen it somewhere and I cant remember if it was selling or preorder.

In fact the first I've posted, magic, is available in korea as SCH-V500. But this is better! And a bit different: Magic has integrated intenna and V500 not.

Still looks awful to me. Interesting concepts they have there though. I am sure that many people will be looking forward to seeing what, if any of them, actually make it to production.

Very interesting. Screenies from a powerpoint presentation? I bet Samsung hate you now. One thing I've noticed that really pleases me, all but one have bluetooth. I though that (or the lack of it) spoilt alot of decent handsets from Samsung.

Oh, I see. Well, it's coming soon. And remember that the 'D720' hasn't even been formally announced by Samsung yet. By the looks of it they don't intend to present it until CeBit in March.

i think samsung are going to be very sad and upset because those models are shown now , they are trying to keep the new models a secret so other companies will not copy the design ..

Those rotating screens look like useless gimmicks to me. The screen is not that much wider in horizontal, and you can just rotate the phone instead. Just adds useless bulk/size.

The S60 phone (with the clock on the screen in the pic) looks really nice, except is it a slider or where is the keypad?

The pocket PC one looks nice too, but Pocket PC has so far not lived up to the expectations. The smaller "compact slider" looks horrible to me...

I think the screen slides up to reveal the keypad, or the keypad slides down, depending on which way you look at it.

I agree. It looks like the screen needs to be bigger, it's like it gets swamped by the rest of the phone.

I don't think so. It's basically the same. Except for this Video Recording & Messaging & Streaming thing.

Magic with intenna looks cool though

The Samsung SCH-V500 is cool, but this thing is amazing! Intenna, Bluetooth, 2 MP cam and a QVGA Display which is flippable!
I would love these thing on the German market!

Viipottaja, The reason there is a rotating screen is because 1. there used to be a TV function 2. There is a 3D stereo speaker on the top and the bottom (So if you make is horizontal, it becomes right and left)

The reason that there are "anycall " brand is because it is sold in Chinese market. It is GSM. The shape of Anycall Brand for CDMA phones (Korea) looks a bit different

Functions great, design appearantly great but not great(Too focus on technicities and not much fine finishes with all the industrial designs etc...)
Late to launch, more tailored towards Korea networks and maybe Japan...(a selfish phone)
Price will be frightening, maybe I'll rather get a com. (I say this because the D500 now cost $1000+ SING in SG and that's stupid)
Designs are not neat, there are too many carvatures in all the models.
Weight will be heafty and the first phone will be too bulky and thick.

I love the design of Javelin, Comet I and Odin. Hopefully Thor has a 2MP camera and similar design to those handsets. I like B-Bop, but not the design.

Just curious; where are you getting these from?

Edit: Very interesting. It seems that Samsung is going to be very strong this year.

Yeh, but Carmen is spoilt by a CMOS censor I think. But it's best to see a sample picture before I judge.

Usually CMOS sensors from SAMSUNG are clear without much noices.
Most of the others are also having CMOS sensors.

I hope Carmen's design is final, or at least close. I think it looks really good. But they should get rid of that loop at the top, because I can see that being really annoying.

I've never really liked Samsung phones before but some of these look very, very cool! "Thor" looks really nice!

Has anyone used these Microsoft Smartphone interfaces before?

PS: I bet Samsung are not to happy all these details have been leaked!

Odin must be the one also referred to as E720?

wow, some interesting stuff there!!

the specs of "Thor" sound particularly appealing.. although the design is a bit dull imo... guess its just a "business", "serious" looking phone.. 3gb though.. nice! now of they could just put that 3gb hdd in the "bebop" model... that would be perfect!

"lotus" looks very smart.. is that originally a korean market model?

I'm eyeing Bally.

Carmen's design has echoes of the Canon Ixus i. Odin's look is so passé already.

Ghibli, I don't think it's passé, it looks quite good in black IMO, but it's the E700 all over again.

I don't know how comfortable Thor's keypad would be to use. The softkeys look cramped, but a little like something Siemens would produce? Maybe it's the three horizontal dots.

And what's that in the middle? Directional keypad? Circular scroll? I'd be worried to drop it in case the HD broke, they're quite fragile. But 3GB would do nicely for putting on my favourite albums at the time. Then I can use my MP3 player for when I go on holiday and stuff, and then my phone when I'm on the train on the way to uni each day.

Aren't those three softkey dots practically a Samsung trademark already?

This seems to be the Bluetooth-Offense! Enourmous! Amazing phones, but they all look quite the same (clam-shell phones)!
Still the best clam-shell phones in the world! Odin and Muse look good to me!

The question is how many of these are really going to be released and, in particular, how many in markets other than Korea?

Some of them look cool, like Thor. Others just as dull as most clamshell phones to me. Some specs pretty good, but at what price?

But there are so many similar models to the D500 in these pictures... I think they are using same strategy as nokia
