The REAL METHOD 4 UPLOAD JAVA TO LG U8XXX

HI, sorry 4 my english, i'm russian.

So, now I try to told u the realy working method for upload java to LG U series:
1.)take your mobile and go to games settings (menu-->5-->3-->and quickly digit 3698#*# )
2.) now is opening the SECRET SUB menu "SettingsJava hiddenmenu"
like there:
1.Toggle(Cur:Disabled)
2.Make another folder
3.Delete all

3.)now push "toggle..) and its now is Toggle(Cur:Enabled)
Don't touch the 3th menu because u delete all games in your mobile
and 4 the moment don't touch the 2nd menu

4.) now u have to download the programme whose u make the .JAD files like "JADMaker"

5.)If u haven't any game on your PC go to http://sevenwap.altervista.org/
and download the games compatible with your mobile, for go there from PC download for free opera browser http://opera.com

6.)now its important, for example we have in ours mobiles 10 games. Ok, now take one game for example: 1941 Frozen Front.jar and rename this file to 11.jar and make the JAD file with "JADMaker"

7.)now we have 2 files: 11.jar and 11.jad. Now connect your LG to your PC aand open with the PHONE MANAGER (original software from LG)

8.)open menu JAVA and paste there the 2 files 11.jar and 11.jad

9.)disconect the LG from PC and go to mobile settings (see the point 1 (menu-->5-->3-->3698#*#)

10.)push the 2nd string "Make another folder"

11.)now exit from all, and go to "my application" and play!

IT'S ALL!!! i have tried this metho with LG U8120, 8330, 8380

everything works for me but i cant go into the games when i go to my applications it says now applications click to download and yeh so can u explain in as much detail as possible how to do it please help would be appreciated

so how come i cant see teh games i put on do i have to name them a certain way or put them on a certain way

Yes it lets me download the games but it wont let me play them, it flashes onto java and then back again. Cant get the game to play from the site i downloaded them from.

does anyone have any games jar and jad they can share??

i fixed the prob some games just dont want ot work so they quit out so now i have 30 java things on my phone gereat post :D

That way is just too long and hard to do it, its easier to buy gthing and do it the quick and easy way by dragging..

hmm, didn't work on my U8330, when going to 'my games' or 'my applications' it still says there are no games. Everthing seemed to work until then.

I have a U8330 unlocked for Orange Romania, and my phone does the same as Susien's phone, it loads to Java, and then exits to main desktop. What can I do? could it be that it has another software? How do I know what software is instaled? Please help me.... Tanks

Hi guys and thx sasha for delivering this great method,

I've succesfully installed the games/apps after experimenting a bit and seeing that sasha's description was incomplete.

The problem is in renaming the files, so if you have none of the games on your mobile, you should rename the files to 00.jar and 00.jad, copy, disconnect, and "Make another folder". You will see the message 'folder 00 added'.

I haven't yet placed 10 games on my mobile but from this point of view, if you already have 10 games on the mobile then you should rename files to 10.jar and 10.jad ( and not to 11.jar/.jad as sasha stated)

I have a U8180 and make the steps...and i don`t have that file"Folde 00" in My Applications menu. Someone can tell me what to do because i try some methods.
1.Toggle(Cur:disabled)

3.Delete all
The java secret menu is opened and after i upload games and make the new folder, in my applications menu i can`t find that folder.

I have just read what sasha86 originally wrote about getting games onto the U8330. Can any vouch that this actually works.
Sorry sasha86, I have been stung by things like this before where my PC or something else gets stuffed up. I jsut want to make sure.

Also, sillens said to rename the files 10.jar etc... Can I get a little clarification on this. I have downloaded a couple of games. They are called for example game.jar and game.jad. Do I need to rename it 1.jar/jad, or can I leave it and just place it in any old folder on my mobile? Or is it vital to special folder names?

I seem to have the same problem as PAI and PROTON. I'm getting the 'Show downloader MIDlet' for number 2 instead of 'make new folder'. I'm trying it with the u8360 and was wondering if anyone has had any success with the u8360 or know what this different menu thing is and how to install java games. Thankyou

I now have a Java folder when I open up the LG Phone Manager on the computer - and can drop games into it - but when I check the phone they can't be found.

Anyone got any ideas???

For most LG U series phones, including the U8360, the easiest way to install games is junction (http://game-thing.com/junction.php). It also fixes a lot of those games that don't work with its nokia emulation. All free too.

BEST WAY FOR FREE GAMES (INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS)

Hey everyone. I know how to install java on the easyest way. First you should download java games in your PC. For now, I have found good games at www.getjat.com. Select LG, that your screen resolution and select a model. It doesn' matter which model you will select. I have U8380, but that model is not on the list. Find what you like (there are other java stuffs except games) and download it to your PC in JAR file. (NOT jad) Send the file on your phone. You must have an external memory card in order to save the file. JAR files cannot be saved in the headset's memory. Find the file in the external memory. It should be with a CD icon and a question mark. Select PLAY (even it is not music) and after 5-10 seconds the setup wizard will open. Wait a second and afted the installation is completed, select Launch. Even some of them ask for an internet connection they don't need. NOT ALL THE FILES FROM WWW.GETJAR.COM ARE SUPPORTED BY YOUR LG.
