Motorola v3 Themes??

Does anyone know if there are any themes available for the V3 yet to download from anywhere I can't find any, thanks.. :confused:

I was looking into this but the process of putting anything on it looks really complicated.

it can use skins for the E698 and after searching for hours I have only found a pink one someplace on howardforums

Guys, you need to use some custom tools to create new MOTOROLA V3/Vxxx SKINS/THEMES. Skins are a lot of GIF images. Skins contain ALL the images that make the phone look the way it does.

I've just finished writing a Motorola Skin Decompiler tool for Windows (command line). You can download it here;

This decompiles the .dat files found in the phone flash. As Default on th Motorola V3 RAZR there are 3 different Skins available, 'Moto', 'Scarlet' and 'Silver'. Much information and tools already exists to allow you to access the flash file system of your phone. Get P2KMAN tool to learn how to do this. Once you get the '.dat' files out of the phone you can use this tool to split all the gif images out.. Then you create all the new ones... Look out soon for the MSC ... Motorola Skin Compiler... I've done the decompiler so the compiler is next on my list...

Okay Here you go;

This is all FIVE skins I currently have for the Motorola V3 RAZR...

After extracting just double click on the batch files to extract the gifs from the .dat files.

These are for;

1. Moto
2. Neon
3. Scarlet
4. Silver
5. Techno

The 'moto' skin is the master skin and as such contains all the MAIN icons etc. that all the other skins choose to (or not) to override. I.e. If you create a skin based on the Moto one you can customise every little icon to your hearts content...

Being a very unskilled person in this regard, how do I get the skins mentioned into my V3......also I have for days been in the mood of changing the icon-colors, but in vain. It seems as if the V3 is not very flexible in this regard! Would appreciate your good advice....thanks, Oeksen37+

Trev_V3, badly needed your help.... i accidentally deleted all the themes (including "moto")... little did i know that if you delete it i wont be able to change the ring stlyes anymore... i tried going to the links that you have given, but it seems that they're not working anymore. your help will GREATLY be appreciated. thanks in advance!
